Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property Policy
Respect and protection of ICIP and Traditional Knowledge.
DIYDG recognises and respects Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP). Users must not upload, reproduce, distribute or commercialise cultural knowledge, stories, language, artwork, images, recordings or community-owned information without appropriate authority and consent.
AI tools on the platform must not be used to generate culturally specific content that misrepresents, appropriates or commercialises ICIP. Cultural authority sits with community, Elders and Traditional Owners.
